BIPSS attended The Annual Strategic Studies Summit

A delegation from BIPSS attended the Annual Strategic Studies Summit organised by Near East and South Asia Center for Strategic Studies (NESA Center) at the United States National Defense University (NDU). The summit as part of the Strategic Studies Network (SSN) brought together strategic thinkers, academics and leading think tanks from the Middle East and South Asia.

Over the next one year, BIPSS will be taking part in two study groups namely, ‘Maritime Security in the Indian Ocean’ and ‘Stability and Peace Support Operations’. Upon completion of their work, the study clusters will publish a white paper which will include policy recommendations on those subjects.

President BIPSS, Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd). is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Strategic Studies Network (SSN).
