President BIPSS attended the EU-Asia Conference

President BIPSS, Major General Muniruzzaman will attend the EU – Asia Conference in Singapore starting on 4 June 2014. The meeting is organized under the auspices of FRIDE, Spain, EU Center in Singapore and KAS of Germany. The conference ‘EU – Asia: The way Forward’ is bringing together heads of some of the leading Think Tanks in Asia and Europe, policy planners and academics. It will deliberate on major issues concerning these two important regions including ASEMs role, energy security, climate change etc.

Major General Muniruzzaman will preside over the important session titled ‘Patchwork Governance: Asian and European Perspectives on Global Governance’. It maybe mentioned that BIPSS is a member of the EU-Asia network, based in Brussels
