Security Implications of Climate Change: Human Security Landscape

BIPSS President Maj Gen Muniruzzaman ndc psc (Retd) delivered a presentation titled, ‘Security Implications of Climate Change: Human Security Landscape’ in a workshop hosted by the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF). The topic of the deliberation was ‘Climate Security & Good Security Sector Governance in Southeast Asia’. The three day workshop was joined by many distinguished dignitaries, experts and scholars from all over the world where deliberations centred around key issues, such as the security aspects of climate change, food security, water security, migration patterns, etc. He also spoke at a larger public event on the final day where he explained the role of the security sector in climate change reponse mechanism.
