Media and National Security: An Indian Perspective

Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) recently organized a hybrid In-House conversation session titled ‘Media and National Security: An Indian Perspective’ where BIPSS International Research Interns Nell Detre and Maxwell Harrison Goldstein were in conversation with Mr Bharat Bhushan, Editor and Columnist. Mr Bhushan discussed the complex relationship between journalism and marketing, how politics is taking over the independence of media, and the relationship between media and security during the session. The attendees of the event included former ambassadors and journalists.
