Link Between Economic and Political Freedom and Prosperity

Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) recently held an roundtable at the BIPSS Conference room, Dhaka. The welcome remarks were given by BIPSS President Major General ANM Muniruzzaman, ndc, psc, (retd) who was also the moderator of the discussion. Mr Dan Negrea, Senior Director of the Atlantic Council’s Freedom and Prosperity Center, gave the keynote presentation on the topic, ‘Link Between Economic and Political Freedom and Prosperity’. The attendees of the presentation included officials from different embassies in Bangladesh and international organizations, academics and journalists.

The presentation was followed by an insightful Q&A session and closing remarks from the moderator.
