Energy Security and Climate Change in South Asia: A Threat Analysis for Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka

A major publication has recently come out on issues regarding energy security and the effects of climate change in South Asia. ​The book has been published under the auspices of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the Centre for South Asian Studies in Nepal. ​The chapter on Bangladesh titled ‘Energy Security and Climate Change in South Asia: A threat analysis for Bangladesh’ has been authored by Major General A N M Muniruzzaman, ndc, psc (Retd), President, Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS). The chapter also offers assessment of future implications of the climate change in Bangladesh and recommendation for mitigating future crisis.
