Conference on ‘Bangladesh: Democracy at Crossroads’ in Washington, D.C.

Mej. Gen. Muniruzzaman, President Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) spoke at the Heritage Foundation, Washington D.C. on current and emerging security issues of Bangladesh.The conference entitled ‘Bangladesh:

Democracy at Crossroads’ held on September 28, 2007, was largely attended by policy planners in Washington, D.C. based think tanks, academics, Bangladeshi community and Bangladesh Embassy in Washington. The issue of Bangladesh drew keen interest from the floor.
