Bangladesh and the Region: Facing the challenges in post COVID world

In order to explore the emerging regional complexities of South Asia and Bangladesh, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and BIPSS have jointly organised a webinar on “Bangladesh and the Region: Facing the challenges in post COVID world.” The webinar was attended by senior ICRC officials from across the world. The keynote presentation was given by the President, BIPSS, Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd).

In his presentation, General Muniruzzaman focused on the emerging national and regional challenges faced by Bangladesh and South Asia in the Post-COVID world. General Muniruzzaman also dwelt on the politics of vaccine diplomacy and regional power dynamics in South Asia. It may be mentioned that the ICRC is one of its earliest partners and the two organisations have held numerous joint events through the years.
