BIPSS President Speaks at the Symposium of the Council for Asian Terrorism Research (CATR)

President of BIPSS, Major General ANM Muniruzzaman, ndc, psc (Retd.) who is a member of the Board of Governors (BOG) of the Council for Asian Terrorism Research (CATR) attended the CATR-Board of Governors meeting in Sydney, Australia. The major themes and focus of the conference were “The Landscape of Terrorism after Iraq, 2013” and “The Emerging Threat of Cyber Terrorism” followed by country presentations from the delegates. Active roundtable discussions took place on these issues and the summery of the discussions has come out in the conference declaration

BIPSS President presented his key note paper on “Cyber Terrorism: The New War”. Selected experts and policy planners from the Asia-Pacific Region and United States attended the conference and discussed the points of importance and future strategy to deal with long-term terrorism threats in the Asia-Pacific.
