The US THINK TWICE Act and the Future of Indo-PacificPartnerships

BIPSS Research Assistant Nazmul Islam Mahmud discusses the prospect of the US THINK TWICE Act of 2025 in assessing the future of the Indo-Pacific partnerships. The introduction of the Act by Senator Pete Ricketts necessitates a conscious evaluation of the Chinese military industrial complex that needs to be countered through refraining countries from being dependent on Chinese military instruments. But the successful implementation of the Act requires the US to undergo a trust-building process with its partners and the sovereign littoral states in the Indo-Pacific region.
