President BIPSS, Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd), was invited as a guest speaker at the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland. The Forum is the major platform to discuss some of the key issues of concern and ones that affect the international community, it also screens leading new films to highlight these issues.It is attended by leading film Directors, academics, thought leaders,journalists,policy makers and others.

General Muniruzzaman spoke at a special session on Climate Refugees. The panel discussion followed the screening of the film ‘ The Age of Consequences’. The film produced in the USA focuses on the key climate security challenges facing the world and and some leading US security analysts and General Muniruzzaman is featured in the film. Last year he also spoke at Chatham House, London and at the Planetary Security Conference in the Hague on his role and analysis in the film following the screening of the film there.
