Building Awareness Against Disinformation Among Youth” at The American Corner, Chattogram
Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS), in collaboration with the U.S Embassy (Public Diplomacy Section), hosted a workshop titled “Building Awareness Against Disinformation Among Youth” at The American Corner, Chattogram. Mr. Shahriar Kabir, Manager of Strategic Business at Banglalink Ltd. and Mr. Fahad-Al-Salam, Research Assistant at BIPSS, conducted the workshop. University students participated and shared their experiences during the workshop.
Through the workshop, the participants were empowered with the ideas and knowledge of the concept of disinformation, how it has become a huge threat to the societies with real life examples and most importantly, how to counter it. There were also discussions on interfaith and faith-based relations. The sessions were interactive, with insights from all the students.
