Asia – Pacific Forum on Security Sector Governance and Reform (SSG/R)

Major General A N M Muniruzzman, ndc, psc, (retd.), President BIPSS attended the Asia – Pacific Forum on Security Sector Governance and Reform (SSG/R) held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The Forum is hosted by Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF), Geneva. This annual event brought together leading experts on the subject from all countries in Asia – the Pacific region and Oceania. It discussed wide-ranging issues related to the SSG/R and focused on the role of the security sector in pandemic management, climate security, cyber security etc. It may be mentioned that Gen Munir is a delegate to DCAF, and BIPSS is an institutional member of this security sector network.
