Revisiting the Rohingya Crisis: What Lies Ahead?
BIPSS, in partnership with Dhaka Tribune, recently hosted a roundtable on ‘Revisiting the Rohingya Crisis: What Lies Ahead?’ at The Westin Dhaka. The event was moderated by Mr. Shafqat Munir, Senior Research Fellow of Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies. The roundtable had an expert panel comprising of Mr.Asif Munier, National Expert on Migration and Displacement and Air Vice Marshal Mahmud Hussain (Retd) Distinguished Expert Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University. The session was attended by many distinguished Ambassadors, dignitaries, foreign diplomats, government officials, defence personnel, academics, editors, journalists, and scholars where they deliberated on Rohingya crisis and its future aspects how Bangladesh will have to remain incessantly engaged bilaterally, regionally and globally to resolve the complex and protracted Rohingya crisis despite the lack of progress over the past few years.
