BIPSS organised a round table on 05 November 2018 titled ‘Free and Open Indo Pacific – Implications for the Region’. The keynote presentation was made by Mr. David J Ranz Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asia at the US Department of State.In his remarks DAS Ranz touched upon the the importance of the Indo Pacific strategy and its impact on the region.

Participants at the roundtable included former ambassadors, analysts, academics and senior editors. The event was also attended by the Charge de Affaires of the United States Mr. Joel Reifman
