A BIPSS team led by President BIPSS Major General A N M Muniruzzaman, ndc, psc (Retd) attended the International Conference on Climate and Resource Security in South Asia held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The conference deliberated on the critical linkages between climate change and resource scarcity. The duel impacts can have serious implications on regional stability and security.

President BIPSS addressed the conference on security impacts of the situation and it’s spill over effects. Mr Shafqat Munir also attended the conference and Chaired an important session. They later attended the Planning Meeting of Consortium of South Asian Think Tanks (COSATT) in Colombo. COSATT is the leading think tank platform in South Asia and BIPSS is a founding member of the organisation.
