President BIPSS Speaks on Climate Change at Environmental Security Conference, Ghana, June 2012

President BIPSS Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd.) spoke at “West Africa Region Environmental Security Conference” held in Accra, Ghana on 12-15 June 2012. The Conference was organized by United States Africa Command (AFRICOM).  In the conference, General Muniruzzaman spoke on the theme: “Security Implications of Climate Change” and Environmental Security: A Case Study of Bangladesh” in which he highlighted the major national and regional vulnerabilities to climate change and portrayed the case study of Bangladesh. Many climate change and security experts from the United States and Africa attended the Conferences.   Presentation
