President BIPSS Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd) was invited to attend and speak at the Beijing Xiangshan Forum 2018 in China.

President BIPSS Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd) was invited to attend and speak at the Beijing Xiangshan Forum 2018 in China. The forum held at track 1.5 level is the largest security policy conference in the Asia – Pacific Region. There were over 550 participants this year from over 80 countries and major international organisations. The main focus of the conference this year was on building a new security cooperation in the region and touched all key issues of concern.

General Muniruzzaman was invited to Chair a special session on Artificial Intelligence (AI) titled ‘Artificial Intelligence and Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA)’. The session looked at the fundamental changes that are coming in the art of warfare with the advent of AI. It may be mentioned that BIPSS has a strong agenda to study future war and conflict and how it will have an impact on international stability.
