President BIPSS Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd) attended the Non Traditional Security (NTS) – Asia Summit in Singapore. The focus of the annual summit this year was on Multilateral Governance in NTS and it brought together NTS experts and policy makers from around the region. Gen Munir’s presentation in the summit was titled ‘Digitalisation and Smart City Management’ which looked at the future of global urbanisation process. He also presided over the session on ‘Climate Change and Environment’ where he pointed out the grave risks from climate security threats. It may be mentioned that BIPSS is one of the founding members of this important network.
