President BIPSS Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd) attended the Belt and Road Summit in Beijing, China last week. This major summit was held at the five year mark of BRI. It was attended by more than 40 heads of state and governments, 150 country delegations and chiefs of all major international organisations like the UN, IMF and others. General Muniruzzaman also attended the Inaugural Meeting of the newly launched Belt and Road Studies Network (BRSN). BIPSS is one of the founding members of this important network that will provide policy inputs for the BRI work and process which has been termed as ‘the project of the century’.
