President BIPSS Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd) attended the Asia Think Tank Summit 2018 in Bali, Indonesia. The yearly summit hosted by the University of Pennsylvania was attended by major think tanks in the Asia Pacific region with observers from European and African think tanks. Gen Muniruzzaman was a panelist in the strategic panel titled ‘The Future or Back to the Future : New Actors and Allainces’ in which he touched on the strategic shifts and repositioning taking shape in a situation of strategic fluidity. At the end of the summit he also attended the Consortium of South Asian Think Tanks (COSATT) Directors Planning Meeting for 2019 and Cooperation Meeting of the Think Tanks of South Asia and South East Asia. It may be mentioned that BIPSS is a founding member of COSATT.
