President BIPSS attended the United Nations [UN] Conference on Climate Change in Bonn, Germany

President BIPSS, Major General A N M Muniruzzaman, ndc, psc (Retd.) recently attended the United Nations [UN] Conference on Climate Change in Bonn, Germany. The high level conference was attended by various delegations from UN member states and selected experts from around the world. General Muniruzzaman represented the Global Military Advisory Council on Climate Change [GMACCC] of which he is the current Chairman. He specifically stressed on the importance of the security dimensions of Climate Change. The conference held in Bonn was also crucial in the lead up to COP 21 to be held in Paris later this year.
