President BIPSS attended an international conference in Yangon

President BIPSS, Major General Muniruzzaman attended a conference titled, “Climate Diplomacy and Urban Resilience”, in Yangon, Myanmar from 2-7 September, 2014. The conference was arranged by the UN Habitat and EU-Asia Dialogue.

President BIPSS presented a paper on ‘National Interests and Vulnerability in the Current Climate Negotiations’ at the conference. The program was attended by leading experts and specialists from various countries and UN agencies dealing with climate change and climate diplomacy.
