Expert Level Meeting on Counter Terrorism Capacity Building and Regional Cooperation June 5, 2012

Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) held the “Counter Terrorism Capacity Building and Regional Cooperation: Expert Level Meeting” on June 5, 2012, at Radisson Blue Water Garden Hotel. Thirty experts in this particular area of concern, policy drivers, and civil society leaders attended the discussions. The aim and purpose this meeting was to encourage and facilitate new thoughts and ideas, brainstorm strategies and frameworks through a ‘whole-of-society’ and ‘whole of government’ approach to counter-terrorism in Bangladesh, and in the South Asian region as well.
