COP26- A Post Mortem

The 26th Conference of the Parties concluded, stirring up both hope and skepticism around the globe. The conference in Glasgow saw progress in some areas, such as shifting away from fossil fuels, tackling methane emissions, and protecting nature and biodiversity but failed to give a clear pathway to capping the global temperature at 1.5 degrees. ; the world still has a long way to go in the years ahead.  

Ms. Tasnuva Alam Ahona, currently working as a research intern at BIPSS, highlights and dissects the different aspects of the conference, including its implications for the future and the challenges that lie ahead in terms of climate action.
