BIPSS Successfully Hosted International Conference on “Afghanistan Beyond 2014:Implications for South Asia”

The subject conference that was organized by Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) took place in La Vita Hall of Hotel Lake Shore in Gulshan, Dhaka on 9th Sept 2013 with lively participation from strategists, intelligentsia, academic, political figures, media personalities, NGO and youths from universities and related professional fraternity. Some representatives of governmental agencies also attended the conference. Insightful presentation from experts of each related aspects of Afghan situation and its implications aroused great interest among the audience. A lively Q & A session followed each presentation. Live twitting of the core points mentioned by the speakers as the conference progressed and the instant reactions in Twitter from different corners of the world was another highlight of the conference.
