A delegation from BIPSS led by President BIPSS, Maj Gen Muniruzzaman(Retd) visited the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore.

A delegation from BIPSS led by President BIPSS, Major General Muniruzzaman (Retd) visited the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore. The delegation attended the review meeting of the joint project that BIPSS is conducting with NIAS on Climate Change Threat Mapping.

The President and Mr. Shafqat Munir Research Fellow, BIPSS also spoke at two other round tables at NIAS. The delegation also called on the Director of NIAS Professor Baldev Raj and discussed areas for future cooperation. During their stay in Bangalore they also visited the Takshashila Institution and joined a discussion meeting on current regional issues.
