Women in Politics: Shaping the Future

Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies recently organised a Policy Café at Westin, Dhaka on ‘Women in Politics: Shaping the Future’. The event was moderated by Major General ANM Muniruzzaman ndc psc (retd), President of BIPSS. The panel of disscussants at the policy dialogue included Dr. Nadia Binte Amin, Chairman of TARA Foundation and Ms, Nasima Akhter Joly, Director of Hunger Project, Bangladesh. The event was attended by Ambassadors , many distinguished diplomats, editors, scholars, defense personnel, academics and other dignitaries and participants. The discussion illustrated the contemporary circumstances and future prospects and challenges concerning women’s participation in the political realm.
