The Integration and Utilization of AI in Financial Services Sector

Artificial Intelligence(AI) imitates the human mind seeking to tackle problems in the same way an expert in the field would. Generative AI takes this a step further and produces reasonable suggestions, drafts, data and so much more depending on what is needed. This new advancement in technology has the potential to not revolutionize but provide a meaningful boost for the financial services sector. Caution must be taken however, as generative AI is still being developed and is not yet perfect by any means.

Through this commentary on the integration and utilization of AI in the financial services sector, Ahmed Wafee Syed Khan, research intern at the Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) has explored the ways AI can be implemented in different facets of the industry.
