In the 21st century, China has become the most important key player in global affairs. Few indicators can determine China’s rise as a global power. These are economic, military and diplomatic capabilities. China was referred to as a “revisionist power” and a “strategic competitor” by President Trump’s administration in 2017, and the administration warned that a new era of struggle was just beginning.
