Power of the pen: An Essential Tool for Democracy

Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) organized a Dinner Discussion Club on ‘Power of the pen: An Essential Tool for Democracy’ on November 16th, 2019. The dinner talk was given by Mr. Zafar Sobhan, Editor, The Dhaka Tribune where he highlighted about newspaper playing important role in informing general people in a democracy, the power of expression is essential, rights and status of women etc.
The dinner discussion club is a monthly event of BIPSS where issues of importance and interest will be highlighted. The dinner club was attend by ambassadors, diplomats, academics, journalists, and others.
