| Global Military Advisory Council on Climate Change (GMACCC) has just published a report in collaboration with University of Cambridge and Institute for Environmental Security titled “Climate Change: Implications for Defence” based on an analysis of the Assessment Report 5 (AR5) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). It may be mentioned that Major General Muniruzzman (Rtd.), President, Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS), is the current Chairman of GMACCC and BIPSS also acts as the International Secretariat of GMACCC. |
