Bangladesh 2.0: Vision of Gen-Z

Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) hosted a policy cafe on “Bangladesh 2.0: Vision of Gen-Z” at The Westin, Dhaka, featuring insights from young leaders on the future of the nation. Major General ANM Muniruzzaman (Retd), President of BIPSS, moderated the session, highlighting the significant role of Gen-Z in Bangladesh’s population and recent political changes.

Esteemed panelists Ms. Nazifa Jannat, Mr. Nayem Abedin, and Mr. Sadique Al Aman shared their visions for a new Bangladesh, emphasizing reforms in education, governance, and social equality. They discussed the impact of the recent ‘Monsoon Revolution’ and outlined priorities for the interim government.

The event fostered engaging discussions on crucial issues such as constitutional reform, youth engagement in policy-making, and the path towards a more inclusive and democratic Bangladesh. Ambassadors, defense personnel, journalists, academicians, and students participated in this thought-provoking dialogue about the nation’s future.
