Welcomes the Interim Government in Bangladesh

Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) welcomes the interim government in Bangladesh led by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus. The interim government has our full support as it works to restore peace, law and order and bring stability to the country. We urge all responsible actors to prevent further violence and loss of life and rebuild the country in line with the dreams of the Monsoon Revolution (credit: term first used by Senior Research Fellow, Mr Shafqat Munir)

The people of Bangladesh deserve peace, accountability and a smooth pathway to an inclusive democratic future. We at BIPSS salute all the martyrs who sacrificed their life in this people’s revolution and believe that this interim government led by the global icon Professor Muhammad Yunus is one of the best solutions to restore the development of Bangladesh and reconstruct our country in a positive light.
