President BIPSS attends the 6th Think Tank Forum of Islamic Countries

President BIPSS, Major General A N M Muniruzzaman, ndc, psc (Retd) attended at the 6th Think Tank Forum of Islamic Countries in Islamabad last week. The forum is an initiative of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and the theme this year was ‘Addressing Multidimensional Security Challenges.’ He also presented a paper at the forum on “Non-Traditional Security Threats facing The Islamic Countries.” The forum was attended by all OIC member states and The Secretary General of D-8.

The forum is being widened from next year under the name of ‘World Islamic Forum.’ President BIPSS was also nominated to the seven member Eminent Persons Group (EPG) of the forum.
